For this project, the foundation was already there—an incredibly stylish homeowner with a clear point of view and a home full of potential. As a busy single mom of two and a successful local business owner, she needed spaces that felt not only elevated, but restorative and easy to live in.
Our role was to build on what already existed—refining, modernizing, and layering in warmth to create a home that better supported her day-to-day life.
From a brighter, more open kitchen to a primary suite that feels like a true retreat, every update was designed with intention—balancing beauty, function, and a sense of calm.
This project was as meaningful as it was transformative. Designing for someone so open, resilient, and full of heart brought a level of care and motivation that shaped every decision along the way.

A fresh, modern update to the heart of the home.
kitchenThe kitchen transformation centered around creating a more open, airy feel while introducing modern character. The island was reimagined in a moody blue—Le Luxe by Behr—adding depth and contrast without overwhelming the space.
We updated all lighting, including the island pendants and sink fixture, to bring in a more current, elevated feel. Custom millwork enhancements—like a redesigned hood and the addition of open shelving—helped visually lighten the space and create a more relaxed, lived-in look.
A glossy, textured backsplash replaced a dated pattern, instantly modernizing the kitchen while still honoring the home’s architecture. New hardware throughout ties everything together with a refined, cohesive finish.

While compact, the pantry was designed to feel just as considered as the rest of the home. Clean, streamlined organization meets warm, textural elements—creating a space that’s both highly functional and visually cohesive.
Every detail was approached with intention, turning an everyday utility space into something that feels effortless and refined.

The goal for this space was simple: transform it into somewhere she actually wants to spend time. We replaced a dark, heavy gray with a brighter, more inviting white that complements the existing cabinetry and allows natural light to do its job. The overall palette now feels warm, fresh, and calming. The shower floor is a standout moment—adding texture and personality while grounding the space. Paired with improved lighting and layered natural elements, the bathroom now feels like a true retreat.
