Cindy spruellWith a keen eye for traditional design and an expertise in home construction, Cindy Spruell brings invaluable experience to Modern by Miles.
After building five homes of her own, she understands the challenges of home design inside and out—making her an essential guide for clients navigating the process. Cindy’s style leans classic, offering a perfect balance to Modern by Miles’ contemporary approach. Her background as a pharmacist has honed her precision and analytical skills, which she now applies to design—and to the financial side of building. In fact, she created our Construction Budget Tool, helping clients stay on track without sacrificing style.
ashlyn nastally Driven by a talent for translating vision into vivid 3D visuals, Ashlyn Nastally brings advanced rendering expertise and design insight to Modern by Miles.
Originally from Atlanta and now based in East Alabama, Ashlyn holds an associate’s degree in interior design and is currently pursuing her bachelor’s in interior architecture. Her formal education and hands-on experience with both residential and commercial projects give her a well-rounded perspective on space planning and visual cohesion.
Ashlyn’s specialty lies in bringing floor plans to life through 3D renderings—an essential piece of the Modern by Miles process that helps clients visualize their future homes with clarity and confidence. Her love of design began early, nurtured by childhood afternoons watching HGTV with her family. Today, that same curiosity and enthusiasm fuel her meticulous approach to each project. Whether it’s mapping out a moody living room or crafting a layered kitchen layout, Ashlyn helps ensure every design decision feels intentional, modern, and truly livable.
Kimberly MogillBacked by a decade of clinical experience and a passion for purposeful design, Kimberly Mogill brings invaluable expertise in aging-in-place strategies to Modern by Miles.
A licensed occupational therapist with a master’s degree and a Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS) credential, Kimberly has spent over 10 years helping adults and older clients remain safe, independent, and comfortable in their homes. Her background in geriatric care and rehabilitation uniquely positions her to guide clients through the nuances of home modifications that support long-term livability.
Originally from Charlotte and now based in Alabama, Kimberly specializes in designing spaces that enhance mobility, safety, and day-to-day function—without sacrificing warmth or style. Her perspective is both clinical and deeply personal, shaped by her role as a wife and mother of two young daughters. She believes the best place to age is right where you are—and she’s committed to making that possible through thoughtful, personalized design solutions that feel as good as they function.
